8/13/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved Behavior: QMHP-C greeted JaCarei upon arrival to the home setting. Upon arrival to the home setting, JaCarei appeared to be in a good mood evident by his facial expressions such as a smile on the face. QMHP-C inquired about his day. JaCarei verbalized to QMHP-C that his day was going okay and he had gotten into trouble at school because a peer was messing with him so he got upset with him. JaCarei continues to struggle with being able to communicate his thoughts and feelings. Behavior: JaCarei was cooperative; however, he needed some redirection from QMHP-C for him being withdrawn looking out the blinds during the session. Once he was redirected from QMHP-C he was able to regain focus of the session as client continues to present symptoms of anger and aggressive behaviors towards his peers as well as his siblings. Intervention: QMHP-C began the session off by confronting JaCareiâs negative behaviors and provided him with alternative ways to refrain from engaging in negative behaviors. QMHP-C encouraged him to be mindful of how he feels prior to becoming angry when he doesnât get his way with his mother. Intervention: QMHP-C processed with JaCarei negative beliefs and engaged JaCarei in an exercise related to restructuring thoughts related to negative beliefs and thoughts. QMHP-C provided him of possible body feelings when he becomes mad and upset with his mother. Response: JaCarei appeared to be receptive to QMHP-Csâ interventions and services that were provided to him during the session. He shared significant feedback to QMHP-C regarding the topics discussed in the session. JaCarei was eager to share how his body feels when he becomes angry. JaCarei was inquisitive about how QMHP-C manages anger. Response: JaCarei easily engaged in the game but struggled to use the stop and think techniques. At times, he responded in haste and reacted inappropriately during the game. He was able to recognize his negative behavior as evidence by his ability to name several negative behaviors that he has exhibited when it came to his mother.
